Central Malta
This tour groups together a number of cultural spots, gives some time for shopping, and also includes a bit of countryside.
The day starts off in Mosta, at the third largest Dome in Europe, and followed by a walk through San Anton’s Botanical Gardens. Here you will get to see some exotic plants, trees, and flowering beds. The next stop will takes us to the Crafts Village where we will get to view the process of Glass Blowing, and Filigree Making, both of which are Maltese artisan skills. You will have the opportunity to shop their creations.
The following location will be Dingli Cliffs, giving some time to unwind and take a few photos. Afterwards we head to Malta’s Old Capital, Mdina and stop for a lunch break. We will walk through the narrow winding streets reaching the Bastion Walls enjoying an aerial of the Island. In Mdina you may also wish to visit Palazzo Falson, one of the towns oldest palaces, exhibiting the antiques collection of the last owner; Captain Olaf Gollcher.
The rest of the afternoon will be spent exploring the neighbouring town, Rabat, appreciating the distinctive charm of the town – eventually arriving to St.Paul's Catacombs.
